STEWARDSHIP AND FINANCE

    Have you recently stopped to thank God for your talents???  Have you stopped to look around the church to see what a variety of talents the church family possesses?  Are you putting your talents to work for the church?  Lately, what have you volunteered to help with?  Are you a member of a council or Sunday school class?  Do you teach Sunday school?  Have you volunteered to help with this year's Vacation Bible School?  Have you put your talent under a bushel?

    Each of us needs to examine these questions on a regular basis.  We all can't sit down and let someone else do all the work.  Susie and Johnnie are good but they cannot carry on the work of the church alone.

    Don't think you don't have a talent.  Just look around at all the programs of the church.  Surely you can help in some area.  When did you last visit the sick or shut in?  Have you asked a friend to church lately?  Look under your bushel and let the light shine on your "SPECIAL TALENT".  Call David or one of the council Chairs and tell them you would like to help in your special area.
